Keep the Stainless Steel Shining

Clean the stainless-steel parts regularly to keep your Caveman Grill looking its best. Always clean and wipe in the direction of the grain to prevent visible scratches.

For regular cleaning, use a non-abrasive sponge and a good-quality oven cleaner, preferably a mousse. Only apply the cleaner when the grill is completely cool. Leave it to work for at least two hours, then wipe the surface with a damp sponge and dry it thoroughly.

Removing Stubborn Stains

For stubborn stains, use a fine stainless-steel scouring pad or Scotch-Brite. Always work in the direction of the grain and avoid excessive pressure to prevent scratching the surface.

Firepit and Firebrick Care

The firepit contains firebricks that might absorb moisture when exposed extensively to wet conditions. Wet firebricks might be particularly vulnerable to damage during freezing temperatures.

Keep the firebricks dry and avoid contact with water, rain or snow. Never use a garden hose or rinse the inside of the firepit with water. Take particular care to keep the firebricks dry when cleaning the grill.
